FIRST LOOK:

KTM 990 ADVENTURE DAKAR

In what was clearly a busy day for KTM, the Austrian brand also used today's festivities at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, to unveil a new edition of its 990 Adventure long-distance all-roads touring machine.

The new 990 Adventure Dakar scores the engine from KTM's 990 Adventure R model, wrapped in an orange powder-coated steel trellis chassis that is covered in 'cigarette blue' bodywork complete with Dakar Bedouin graphics and a suede-look seat cover.

The 990 Adventure Dakar is claimed to produce 115hp and the bike comes standard with ABS brakes and WP suspension components from the 990 Adventure.

Stay tuned for details from KTM Australia on when the new 990 Adventure Dakar might make its way Down Under in the new year.
